I'm Kyle Ritter, a REALTOR® with Anders Pierce Realty serving New Braunfels, Canyon Lake, and the surrounding Hill Country. A big part of my business is walking people through custom home builds — finding and vetting the right lot, picking the right builder, and making the calls that decide whether a build comes in on budget or blows past it.

Out here, even a lot that looks simple can hide expensive surprises: rock and limestone shelves under the soil, slope and drainage that change your foundation, septic and well requirements, utility extension costs, and HOA rules that dictate what you can build before you've drawn a single plan.
